I am an Instruction and Reference Librarian, as well as a English Composition Tutor at Lenoir-Rhyne University in Hickory. I teach classes on the university level, perform research work, as well as tutoring students in english composition and helping them with their papers. I also have been certified as a tutor in Biblical and Religious Studies, as I've read different translations of the Bible eight times and have studied many of the Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek words in the original text. I love tutoring because I enjoy helping students achieve their best in their academic work.

Hobbies
I am married and have a son and although I live in Gastonia, I commute to Hickory for work and am available throughout the area. I love playing with my son and we all work on permaculture gardening in our front and back yard. I also studied Classical, Jazz and Blues Guitar for eight years, performed a lot in my twenties, and eventually picked up playing conga and djembe drums on my own and in a band as well. Because of this, I have a lot of musical interests and my son and I often play music together as part of our time together.
