I am passionate about creativity, so by default I am always exploring new avenues of creation whether it be through the visual arts or music. I enjoy listening to jazz, indie-folk. I am a singer, I love to read and I play my ukulele. Some of my favorite movies include Whip Lash, Birdman, Walter Mitty, Fantastic Mr. Fox, Austenland. Some of my favorite books include Redeeming Love, Pride and Prejudice, and The Captains Verses by Pablo Neruda. I love to cook and to learn new recipes. I come from a family where cooking was the heart of our family. So community with others is a huge part of why I love the arts and culture. It is my passion to see others grow in their identity as creatives and that is why I love to teach art!
