Experience
I have relative academic experience at a high level in every subject that I am available to tutor in. The reason why I want to tutor is that I am interested in pursuing a career as an educator, and I know from experience how helpful it can be to have qualified individuals around that can be referenced for help in academic subjects. As a Liberal Arts graduate from Central Piedmont Community College and Queens University of Charlotte, I have two years experience in the study of Music History and Music Theory, three years experience in the study of Ear Training and Sight Singing, five years experience studying the classical Guitar, four years experience studying the Piano, credits in the study of American Literature (Fiction, Non-Fiction, Poetry) and World Literature (Fiction, Non-Fiction, Poetry), College Algebra, Creative Writing (Fiction, Non-Fiction, Poetry), English, Ethics, US and World History, Western Philosophy, World Religion. I am currently in the process of applying for admission into the MFA-Creative Writing Programs in the Charlotte area, transcribing a piece of music for a small guitar ensemble as an independent study which will be permanently part of the Queens University Guitar Ensemble's repertoire, and writing a collection of short fiction. My academic accomplishments include the Pauline-Lewis Academic Fellowship at Queens University, Dean's List at CPCC and Queens, Honors Society and Merit Scholar, also at Queens.
