I attended the University of Wisconsin- Milwaukee and I received bachelors degrees in ESL/ESOL/English Education and Spanish Education. I also earned a BA degree in Spanish with a focus on Literature and Culture. I graduated with honors.

I am a skilled reading, writing, and ESL/ESOL tutor. I have 9 years of classroom teaching experience that has provided me with ample knowledge of best practices and engaging teaching strategies. I hold professional teaching licenses in: K-6 general education, K-12 ESL/ESOL, and K-12 Spanish. I have taught ESL/ESOL, Spanish, English, language arts, reading, phonics, fluency, grammar, comprehension, literature, writing, multimedia, drama, and more. I am, also, a trained reading intervention specialist. I have lived in China, studied abroad in Spain, and I have visited other parts of Europe, Ecuador, Canada and the United States. It was through these experiences that I acquired even more of an appreciation for travel, culture, language learning, writing and education.
