I've always been skilled in math, and my goal as a tutor is to help students develop the ability to learn math more easily. I began tutoring as a middle school student, and I currently teach biology at the high school level. I love tutoring because I get to help students, and it's very rewarding when students feel pride because they have come to understand a new concept. I use a lot of visuals to explain ideas, and I also relate concepts we study with examples of them in the real world. I want students to have a full understanding of the concepts in any subject, because this gives them the ability to apply their knowledge on new learning. When I have free time, I like to hike, play chess and basketball, play video games, and work around the house.
