I am a graduate of Brigham Young University and Johns Hopkins University. I have tutored college students and, in doing so, I've developed strategies and techniques to improve students' performance. I find it extremely satisfying to see my students master the material and become successful. As a tutor, I want to encourage and inspire them. My tutoring philosophy is that each student has a different learning style, and so I customize our sessions to suit the student. I am available to tutor elementary math, pre-algebra, all levels of algebra, geometry, pre-calculus, statistics, microeconomics, economics, accounting, macroeconomics, financial accounting, managerial accounting, all levels of Spanish, reading, writing, essay editing, literature, grammar and mechanics, and geography. I can also help students prepare their college admissions essays.In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, reading, and tennis. I reside in Charlotte, North Carolina.
