I'm a tutor who lives in Charlotte, North Carolina. I received my post-secondary education from two colleges: the University of Maryland-Baltimore County and Johns Hopkins University.I've been tutoring for over a decade. My students consisted of young people from kindergarten to 12th grade and my college peers. I was also a teacher involved in a community organization near Baltimore City. I assisted my secondary school students and my college peers with Algebra classes and helped my younger students with homework.Here are the subjects I tutor: Elementary Math, Middle School Math, Public Health, Test Prep, Pre-Algebra, Medicine, Algebra 1-2, ISEE, SSAT, ISEE-Lower Level, ISEE-Middle Level, SSAT-Elementary Level, SSAT-Middle Level, and Math.The way I help students with their schoolwork is by making it mentally challenging, yet enjoyable. I do my best to figure out their interests then create games to meet those interests. I believe that education should be fun and intellectual.Though I enjoy making my learning sessions exciting, I like a vacation from it every now and then. I exercise by running and hiking in my community. I also love to sing my favorite songs in my spare time.
