I attended Wesleyan University to earn both my bachelor's and master's degrees. As a science teacher, I have taught secondary school students in courses such as physics and biology. I also worked for a test prep center located in Colorado, so I can also help students prepare for standardized exams, including the GRE subject tests, MCAT, PSAT, SAT, and ACT. I truly enjoy tutoring both science and math. Some of the different science and math subjects that I can help students with include all levels of algebra and calculus, differential equations, finite math, microbiology, physical chemistry, physics, social and behavioral sciences, and statistics. As a teacher and tutor, I like to have one-to-one sessions with students so that I can teach content material in a way that the student can truly understand. I also know that students learn in different ways and that I must meet each student's needs by giving them special attention, ensuring that they can do well in a given subject. In my leisure time, I like to practice yoga, run, and read. I am also interested in ice hockey.
