I am a 7th grade teacher in Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools. I enjoy working with students in and out of the classroom, but find the most rewarding experiences are teaching students on a one on one basis where results and progress are visible. I graduated from UNC Chapel Hill in 2013 and have taught in Charlotte for the past two years. I have tutored a variety of students grade 3-8 throughout the past two years and have seen growth and improved confidence in each of my students. I serve on several committees at my school and am currently working on a reading initiative for interdisciplinary literacy.
