Experience
I've been wanting to be a teacher for a very long time so I would help tutor my friends in math when I was younger and I still help some of them now. Last year I tutored at a latch key organization called the Little Willy Center. It made me so happy to see the kids I tutored show me a quiz that they got a 100 on and be so proud of themselves because they got an A. To see these kids so excited about doing well on their homework or quizzes makes me very happy because I helped them push for new goals every time they get an A. I want to help students love to learn like I do. Learning is one of the best things we can do. Learning is what gives you that extra boost when you get older and have to go job hunting. I hope that by tutoring these students, I'll give them the opportunity to love what they're learning even if it's not their favorite subject. I understand that math is not the most favorite subject for most kids so that is why I want to tutor and then one day step up to being a math teacher. I can show kids that math can be fun and learning is fun too. I've been tutoring for 6 years and specialize in mathematics. I am very patient and wont stop until the student understands the information. I break down the material and go through everything step by step so nothing is skipped over. I will try my best to make learning more enjoyable. I'm looking forward to working with students and helping them improve their grades. I love to learn and hopefully you all will end up loving it too.
