Although I am still attending high school, I have an affinity for helping people. I am currently on the path to becoming a CNA at the end of my Senior year. I have maintained a 3.5 G.P.A for all of my high school career, and I also participate in Theatre after school. I want to be a tutor because I can relate to other students and also help them with many subjects. Middle school material is still very fresh in my mind as well as Elementary material which makes it very easy for me to explain things in a simple way to help your child understand subjects that may be difficult to learn in school. I have taken Honors English for 3 years and I have taken multiple science and math classes as well. I have also taken 4 history and civics classes within the last 3 years. I am able to tutor children in each subject.

I believe that tutoring should appeal to the interests of each individual child. I plan to use unique techniques such as games or crafts to help your child learn and remember things instead of the basic book work approach. I believe that when a child can relate to the subject and the work they are doing, they will gain a better understanding of it and begin to love the work instead of dislike it due to the difficulty of it. I am very easy to get along with and I will always keep an open mind and take suggestions whenever they are given. I look forward to creating relationships with students and helping them achieve their academic goals along with helping them overcome any obstacles they have with school.
