I am currently a Geometry teacher at a local high school and would love the opportunity to work with your child! Born and raised in Silicon Valley, I attended the University of San Francisco as a Psychology major, emphasizing in Child and Life-Span Development. I have served as a nanny for 10 years, and am extremely passionate about the educational development of youth. Upon graduating from college, I was accepted into Teach For America, and have been working as a Secondary Math Teacher ever since. I have taught Algebra I and II, and am currently teaching Geometry to 10th graders. I have an immense amount of patience, and love watching my students slowly understand what they are capable of mathematically. I am very energetic, and have been told that I bring an extra "zing" to the topic of math by using real-life application and connections to concepts that they can understand.
