My SAT score was a 1380. I was in the AVID program in high school which is a course in which you learn writing skills as well as different ways to study for exams. The course overall gave me the skills I needed to write essays properly and how to study properly for a major test. I had the honor of receiving a scholarship for college based on a essay that I submitted during my senior year of high school . I wish to be a tutor in various subjects especially English and math . I struggled with math and English during my years of elementary and high school . Once I gained the necessary skills to write essays better and to solve math problems better I knew that I wanted to help other students who may be struggling . While in college I became more and more progressed with my math skills and essay writing. I also become more advanced in my study skills due to having to take many exams throughout my time at unc-charlotte.
