University of South Carolina 2014- Bachelors of Science in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. -Currently a graduate student at Winthrop University earning my Masters of Science in Biology while completing a thesis project. -My thesis research focuses on heart development and regenerative medicine in the context of heart disease and congenital heart defects. -After graduate school, I plan to attend medical school and pursue my dream of becoming a cardiothoracic surgeon.
Experience
-Currently teach Introductory Biology Labs at Winthrop University. Tutoring experience with: -young children (elementary) in Math and Reading -high school level chemistry and biology -college level chemistry and biology I am a very good teacher and find unique ways to explain concepts to different types of learners. I love working with people to help them understand things that they may struggle with.
