Before that I regularly tutored my fellow college students, as well as middle and high school students. -800 on Math SAT, 760 on Verbal SAT (took SAT before writing component was included) -5 out of 5 in Calculus AP-BC -4 out of 5 in AP Literature -4 out of 5 in US History AP -3 out of 5 in European History AP I took five years of Latin with excellent grades each year. I aspire to be a teacher in an independent school environment and view tutoring not only as a step in that direction but also as a worthwhile occupation in and of itself.

I am a bookworm and love reading anything I can get my hands on. I also enjoy video games and keep up with the latest developments and releases. I am from Charlotte originally and as a result am a diehard Carolina Panther fan; I follow both professional and college football very closely. I have been an Atlanta Braves fan since birth. I like all sports in general but definitely prioritize football, then baseball, then others. I have a 15 year old sister and I am accustomed to dealing with and relating to that age group and younger. I am an academic at heart. I love the classroom and I learn for the sake of learning. I hope to be able to spread that mindset, but I also do not take things too seriously and enjoy making learning fun. My favorite thing about tutoring is finding something the student cares about and tying that into the subject matter.
