I have multiple years' experience tutoring both freelance and under contract with Academic Assistants Plus, based out of Charleston. Before that I regularly tutored my fellow college students, as well as middle and high school students. -800 on Math SAT, 760 on Verbal SAT (took SAT before writing component was included) -5 out of 5 in Calculus AP-BC -4 out of 5 in AP Literature -4 out of 5 in US History AP -3 out of 5 in European History AP I took five years of Latin with excellent grades each year. I aspire to be a teacher in an independent school environment and view tutoring not only as a step in that direction but also as a worthwhile occupation in and of itself.
