Hi! I am Holly! I am a native Charlottean. I attended East Mecklenburg High School. I then went to CPCC and earned an Associate in Science Degree. After receiving my degree, I transferred to ASU and majored in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. From there I went to MSU and earned a MS in Genetics. I am currently a biology instructor at the community college. I have a true passion for teaching. I started teaching in graduate school and have continued since then. I currently teach General Biology 1, General Biology 2, and Principles of Biology. I like to work with the community. I teach a summer camp for kids and during the school year enjoy going with my college students to elementary and middle schools to do dissections. It is very rewarding to see students get excited about biology. I have 7 kids ranging in age from 13-22. I love playing with my dogs. I have 2 labrodoodles and a puganese. We also have a lop-eared bunny. I enjoy exercising, walking and Kayaking with the dogs.
