Hobbies
Music. I am the music director at Carmel Presbyterian Church in Charlotte North Carolina. I have the opportunity to work with band members and chord charts as well as traditional classical genres. We also work with jazz and I have a working knowledge of upper structure chords, often called Jazz chords. I can also work with Nashville numbers. One of my specialties is helping students read notes and improvise as well. A strong understanding of the chords Opens up many possibilities for students to improvise around.
