Experience
I have learned that I love to teach. I was a teaching assistant for Cellular Biology and Genetics course for 2 years and a teaching assistant for a Developmental Biology course for 1 semester. I am applying to medical school this year while working as a medical scribe, so I have some time to devote to tutoring. I scored very high on the SAT, ACT, and the MCAT. I took the following AP tests and earned a 5: Calculus BC, English Literature and Composition, Chemistry, U.S. History, Spanish Language and Culture. I earned a 4 on my AP Biology exam.

I am the second oldest of six siblings. I have worked as a resident summer camp counselor, as a residential life assistant, and in two different laboratories. During college I volunteered as an emergency medical technician. I was co-president and co-captain of my college's club crew team my senior year. I like to empower others. I appreciate the fact that not all subjects come easily to everyone, and I believe that with the right support and hard work, people can make progress.
