I graduated from UNC Charlotte in 2016 with a GPA of 3.96 B.A. English Minor in Secondary Education North Carolina Certified Teacher in 9-12 ELA Distinction of being a Highly Qualified Licensed Teacher in the state of North Carolina.

Experience

I majored in English and minored in Secondary Education in college. I have extensive experience studying literature from all over the world, and have taught a broad range of literature. I am a North Carolina certified teacher, and have been teaching for two years. I have experience teaching everything from remedial English classes to advanced courses. Currently I teach American Literature to 11th grade students, but I have experience working with all ages of high school students previously.

As an English teacher I greatly enjoy literature of every kind. In my free time I also enjoy hiking and experiencing the outdoors with my dog and finding new places to explore in the city. I am very social and take any opportunity to meet new people. I love being able to meet new people while also helping them and sharing with them my love for reading and writing.
