Experience

I have tutored various levels of English from elementary to college level, and I have had quite a bit of success from tutoring Math, as well. English is my specialty, but I am well versed in the core subjects. Very proficient in Spanish, tambien. I really want to be a tutor in order to gain experience for my future job as an educator, but--more importantly--I like making a difference in children's lives. The look on their faces when they finally grasp the content is what made me want to go into the field. I have taken a myriad of English courses and I am proficient up to the Pre-Calculus level in math. As far as education goes, I have completed courses focused on Educational Psychology, Teaching with Media, and a few foundations courses.

Well, I'm an Eagle Scout, so I'm still very involved in Scouting, although I'm away at college. I love reading and writing poetry during my spare time, and I also practice martial arts.
